Sifu Sam Dyson
Sam Dyson is a 36th
generation Shoalin Warrior Monk, trained and ordained in the
Shoalin temple, China, and for his dedication he was given the name
Shi Miao Zun, meaning Great Honorable Respect.
He is a black belt in 3 different
martial arts, Shorinji Kempo, Go Ju Ryu Karate, Kenpo Karate,
qualified to teach 9 martial arts, Shaolin Kung Fu, Chin Na,
Pressure Point Fighting, Pan Nam Wing Chun, Yip Man Wing Chun,
Boxing, Muay Thai, Chen Tai Chi, and Kick Boxing.
Sam Dyson is the only person, ever,
to have twice won the Shorinji Kempo prefectutural Championships in
Oita, Japan. He received his1st dan black belt in only
16months. He has been training for over 15 years and his
passion for the martial arts has taken him around the world
training and competing in the UK, Japan, Thailand, China and Hong
Kong.
He has taken part in martial arts
demonstrations and Kung Fu shows in Northern China, and taught for
the Chin Woo Association in South China. He spends much of
his time training police and military personnel around the
world.
He has produced 10 DVDs on various
aspects of martial arts, writes for martial arts magazines and is
in thro process of writing a book.
Dyson holds 3 university degrees in
Chemistry, Law and Chinese Medicine, is a qualified acupuncturist,
and speaks Japanese.
