5 Day Physical Intervention / CQC course
Designed specifically for Close Protection Officers for use in
hostile and non-hostile environments around the globe. Sifu
Dyson was asked by Longmoor security to completely rewrite their
close quarters combat system so that it could be used efficiently
and effectively in the CP arena. With 20 years matial arts
experience, multiple black belts, experience training army and
police forces around the world as well as being a Hostile
Environment CPO, there was probably no one better qualified to
create such a comprehensive package.
That system is now available for individuals working as CPOs as
well as those working elsewhere in the security industry for a
limited time while Sifu Dyson is visiting the UK.
The comprehensive system, ranges from dealing with abuse and
conflict management through to aggressive attacks with
weapons as well as dealing with multiple attackers. The
course also deals with rapid extraction scenarios for use by CPOs
in the field.
So why should you choose this course over any other? This
course is not a system taken from another arena, it is not a
fighting system like Krav Maga, designed for special forces, to
cause as much damage as possible or a mixed martial arts system
designed for fighting in a cage. This is a system designed
from the ground up with Close Protection in mind; protect the
principal, stay safe and get out if required.
It is how to most effectively protect the principle with the
least amount of risk to the CPO. That is not to say that it
cannot be used as a devastating fighting system causing massive
amounts of damage to an assailant in a very short period of
time. However any action is done with the protection of the
Principal as a primary concern and secondarily the structure of the
team as the most important elements. It is about rapid
attacking and withdrawal, not a pitched battle.
The course takes place over 5 days, from 9:30am - 5pm on Monday
14th - Friday 18th June. The facility is fully matted and is
typically used for training full contact fighters.
Accommodation is provided, 4 nights, Monday - Thursday at a
nearby hotel, bed and breakfast included.
All equipment provided, please bring loose clothing for physical
training.
Total £599 including accommodation. £199 Non refundable
